Health and Management
We raise Nigerian Dwarf goats. Goats love attention, and each goat has their own special personality. Knowing your goats well allows you to detect any problems early on in your herd. We spend lot of time in the barn with the goats, and they are familiar with children.
Our herd is fed grain in the morning, and have a steady supply of hay. They also have free choice minerals, and always have water. In the winter months, we give them warm water.
They like to spend time grazing in the fields, and playing together. They also love to play with the children. We maintain our herd by having them checked every 6 weeks. They are also bathed and clipped on a routine basis.
